A Louisiana native & proud Creole, Sophia moved to Los Angeles in 2012 to pursue acting. God instructed her to begin writing scripts. After a bit of resistance, she began writing a web series that eventually turned into her first feature script, True North.
The script for True North has won 4 film festival awards!
Her first TV pilot script, The New Guard, has won 2 festival awards.
She is currently co-writing another pilot titled Red Velvet about a fabulous family of red bones.
She is also developing her first sci-fi feature script.

My Story
How did I get to SRFW Entertainment? Glad you asked!
I originally moved to LA in 2012 at God's behest to pursue an acting career. I did not know at the time that God also had other plans for me. After a few years God told me to write a script. I had begun writing a web series to boost my acting career and to get my work out there. I never produced that series, but that script became True North, my first feature script.
God told me to write more, I immediately said no. "I just want to act in other people's stuff, not write" were my exact words. Oh how arrogant. I have since repented!
As a result of my obedience, I have a complete faith-based feature script that has won a few awards in film festivals, a series pilot that has won a couple of awards, and I have another series and a sci-fi feature in the early stages of writing.
I asked God to give me a thirst and desire to write even more than I want to act and He has done that. I spend most of my time writing now and I love how the Holy Spirit pours the stories into me and watching them flow from my fingertips!
My desire is to point to Jesus and His love and way through real, relatable stories of everyday life with God helping you sort out all the bits.
